Saw these guys at the Belair Hotel in Newcastle in the early 80’s. What a night. Mate of mine nearly got hit by a train. The perfect end to an Evening with the brothers Zarsoff.

I have had your Rude Awakening album since it came out but not your other 2 albums, is there somewhere I can buy those (by the way I went to Birrong Boys High with Dave Wray, don’t know if he’d remember me though….)

I can add 3 gigs to the list. I was doing FOH mixing for a band called Southerly Buster and when they won’t working they would hire out their PA. Did a few hires with The Fabulous Zarsoff Brothers. Great band and great blokes offstage. We would pick Peter up at his house in Ramsgate and he would help us lug in and out. The dates are 4/7/86 @ Seven Hills Inn ( Southery Buster as support). 26/2/88 @ Parramatta Leagues. 27/4/88 @ Sweethearts Cabramatta. I’m sure there were more but that’s all the records I have. One of my favourite bands to work with, always entertaining and professional.

I remember seeing you at Jaggers (under the West Ryde hotel in the 80s). Did you also perform at Bombay Rock (Surfers)?

  18. Deb Thew on November 19, 2021 at 7:32 am

Saw you guys at Bexley North Hotel 82/83, I was going through a pretty messy divorce, and you guys gave me the biggest laugh of my life, have never forgotten how funny and (rude) you were. Loved you ever since 😘

I saw The fabulous Zarsoff Brothers at SWEETHEARTS Cabramatta NSW, i’d never heard of the band before so didnt know what to expect, but as soon as they started they drew the whole crowd in. their mixture of humor and music was so entertaining, that i have never forgotten seeing them, dont know why this band wasnt hugely successful.
